FAQ

Questions, answered.

When does Platform launch publicly?

TestFlight beta is rolling out summer 2026. App Store launch follows after TestFlight feedback. Join the waitlist for an invite — we'll email you the moment a slot opens.

What's the difference between Platform and Notion?

Platform combines Notion + Airtable + Linear + Make + Obsidian into one native app. Local-first, offline by default, no vendor lock-in. Native widgets on iOS, native windows on macOS.

Can I self-host Platform's backend?

Yes. Docker Compose ships with the project. Run on your Mac, your Pi, or your data center. The backend is PostgreSQL + RabbitMQ — no AWS, no Azure, no Google Cloud required.

Is my data shared with third parties?

No. We don't sell data. We don't use third-party analytics. We don't read advertising IDs. See /privacy for the full policy.

What about iCloud sync?

Native apps use iCloud private database for personal notes — end-to-end encrypted via CloudKit. Multi-tenant team data uses our self-hosted backend (or yours, if you self-host).

Which devices does Platform support?

iPhone (iOS 17+), iPad (iPadOS 17+), and Mac (macOS 14+). Universal Purchase: one license covers all your devices forever.

How does pricing work after the beta?

Free download. Optional Platform Pro subscription: $9.99/month or $79.99/year (save 33% annually). Subscriptions are managed by Apple — cancel anytime in Settings → Subscriptions.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support@synccy.com from your account email address. We process deletion within 30 days. See /privacy for details.
